Without supporting culture, our community
is for the birds.

The Atlanta graphic design community has always been strong on community participation and volunteering. Part of this spirit extends from camaraderie with other cultural organizations that need communications services, but lack the budgets of large for-profit corporations. Another is pride in our city, and the desire to improve the quality of life through the advancement of arts and culture.

Over the past 15 years BAD Studio has been committed to strong community involvement as well. Each year the studio donates approximately 10% of sales in donations and in-kind services to local cultural and arts organizations.

The latest project, Scarecrows in the Garden at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, was part of this tradition. Titled, “For the Birds”, it’s a twist on the Alfred Hitchcock movie “The Birds”.

“We love helping raise awareness of what Atlanta has to offer”, says Scott Banks creative director, BAD Studio. “ The scarecrow project is just a lot of fun, and everyone can enjoy it.”
